Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)


Internet Information Services (IIS) is the name of Microsoft's popular Web server. Originally, IIS version 1.0 was available as a free add-on for Windows NT 3.51. Today, Internet Information Services 7.0 is available for Microsoft's Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista operating systems.
