Windows Server Consolidation Strategies


What is server consolidation? The consolidation of Windows servers is used as a solution to server sprawl, meaning the the total number of Windows servers or Windows servre locations is reduced (or consolidated). The server sprawl problem began when IT professionals started to find that too many under-utilized servers in an environment were taking up large amounts of storage space and energy.
