I have a Windows 2000 server with Windows 2000 Pro station and WinXP. If everyone is logged on with current date and time all is well. But, clients in the accounting department sometimes change the system date and then users on the Internet get an access denied error. How can I avert this problem?

EXPERT RESPONSE
Active Directory relies on the system date and time to create the encryption it uses for authentication. If the times are different for the workstation and server, the authentication will fail. I suggest that your accounting department might stop changing the system date and time.
